FAQ
What do you take?
$0.10 per ticket sold + Stripe processing fees, paid by the venue. That's it on tickets. Open mics are free to run.
Who pays the credit-card fees?
Venue decides per ticket type — absorb the fee (cleaner price) or pass it to the buyer.
Can performers use it for free?
Yes. Forever. Performers never pay anything to use Stagetime.
Do I need to use Set-Clip?
No. Set-Clip is opt-in per venue. The rest of Stagetime works without it. When you do use it, performers get their tape automatically within hours of the night ending.
What about reserved seating?
Same $0.10/ticket as GA, plus $0.02/seat for the seat-map infrastructure. Compare to Eventbrite at $0.99 + 2.5% per reserved ticket or seats.io at $0.13/seat — we're 5–10× cheaper either way.
Email blasts?
$2.00 per campaign + $0.90 per 1,000 emails (Resend pass-through). First 2,500 contacts free.
Are the competitor numbers above real?
Eventbrite Essentials, Brown Paper Tickets standard, and Ticketmaster's industry-average service fees as of late 2025. Their actual cost varies by event and tier — these are the published baselines.
